The UHU Guesthouse: Nostalgia, rejuvenated
Right next door to our main building with the reception, breakfast area, conference room and 35 rooms is our UHU Guesthouse. What used to be the township’s post office building is now a registered landmark, lovingly remodeled in 2016: A touch of nostalgia on the outside, modern convenience within. The 26 rooms radiate stylish comfort, an elevator makes for easy access and proprietary parking spaces for smooth arrival and departure.

We feel there is something special about breakfast. Whether you are an early riser or a slow starter: An attractive selection of crunchy or sweet, wholesome or lean makes for a great start into your day. But the most important things are you, our guests, and us, as a team. Our hotel is owner-managed, and that means passion, care, and attention to detail.

And not just by not washing clean towels.
But by generating around 90 percent of our energy ourselves, by preferring organic food from the region and only offering fair-trade coffee and tea. Furthermore we offer eight e-charging stations for cars, local transport job tickets for our employees and in addition full climate neutrality.

A great place to get things done
No, we are not your big conference hotel with a business center and lot’s of meeting rooms. But if you want to convene a small team off site to do some quality work, then we might just be the perfect place. Our conference room accommodates up to 30 participants and features state of the art technology as well as plenty of daylight. You certainly wouldn’t be the first to come together at the Hotel UHU to chart your onward course.
